Messy Church

Pink and Blue Paint Art Party InvitationMessy Church meets every 4th Saturday, 3-5pm at St Giles’ Church & Hall to worship God in a relaxed atmosphere suitable for people of all ages. It is intended for those who have had no or only a loose connection to church, to experience God’s presence in a distinctly different setting to our usual Sunday morning service.

Find us on the Messy Church website: click here

We meet in church for tea & coffee which is followed by a short act of worship which will introduce the theme of the month. There are plenty of toys and a baby play area set up so the kids can play while parents can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. We then move to the chancel for worship after which we move to the hall for craft activities. Usually there will be four to six different activities indoors and outdoors (depending on the weather & season) for children and adults to enjoy – helping us to reflect on our Messy Church theme. Finally we share a light meal.

Future Dates:  27th November, 18th December (Messy Christingle)
